our herb specialist, SusanHerbs are one of natures little surprise packages that contain a lot of flavor. A little goes a long way. You do not need much to make an extraordinary impact in your cooking.  Spices and herbs are different in that herbs are usually edible leafy green plants, are chopped up small (usually), and are used primarily for flavoring purposes in dishes.  Food spices on the other hand are generally ground up into a powder. The staff that actually grows our herbs uses them in their cooking at home and are here to share that information with you.
