Join Meadow View for one of our many seminars and hands-on workshops. Our seminars are chocked full of information and reinforced by handouts you’ll be able to reference when you get home. Our hands-on workshops provide guests with the opportunity to learn how to make a particular project and then take it home. Our unique Kids' Club offers a variety of gardening related projects that teach children the benefits as well as the enjoyment of gardening. Kids' Club meets the first Saturday of the month from September through April.
Please note: Beginning January 1, 2012, all workshops and seminars at Meadow View, including Kids' Club, will require payment upon registration. This is done to insure we can continue to provide quality programs. If, after registration, you find you cannot attend because of a scheduling conflict, your registration fee will be refunded in the form of a Meadow View Gift Card. Notice must be given one week in advance of the workshop for refund to be issued.
We enjoy serving you so much. Thank you for your participation in these sessions. If you have any questions, concerns, or even some ideas for future workshops, do not hesitate to talk with any of our workshop leaders or contact us here at 937-845-0093.
See you in the greenhouse!

Are you looking for a way to "repurpose" all that old vintage glassware you have
around the house? Join us for a step-by-step workshop to make a unique garden
art "glass totem" as seen in "Birds and Blooms" and "Country Living" magazines.
You supply the glassware, we'll supply the base and other materials.
Composting techniques come with many "recipes." Have some fun while you "get the
dirt" on ways to create your own compost. Your plants will love you for it!
Learn how to protect your landscape from these ornery weeds and invasive pests
that want to turn your investment into their new home!
With so many time demands in our lives, our gardens should be the least of our
concerns. Imagine having more time to enjoy relaxing in your garden rather than
working in it! This seminar will give you some time-saving tips from preparing
your flower beds, to choosing the best plants, to fall cleanup.
Asian
Longhorned Beetle (ALB) was found in southwest Ohio in 2011; it was
the first infestation of this highly destructive pest to be found in the
state. ALB kills trees belonging to 13 genera including all species of
North American maples. ALB can be eradicated, but infestations must be
found. Learn what you need to know to help us stop this potentially
devastating non-native pest!
Learn how to create beautiful, low maintenance wall gardens using drought smart
plants!
