Anne
is responsible for wholesale sales, crop selection & scheduling and
financial aspects of Meadow View. She enjoys gardening, travel, reading and
music. She and her husband, Brian, have two daughters. |
|
Brenda is co-owner and has been with Meadow View for over 20 years. She assists Anne as well as helps out with sales whenever possible. Brenda is Meadow View's
licensed RN. She spends time with her family, has two adult daughters, enjoys gardening
(especially container gardening) and sharing the joy of gardening (beetles, worms and
all) with her granddaughter, traveling, reading, and participating in church
mentoring programs.

Brian
is the “man behind the scenes” who grows all of our annual & perennial
seedlings. He is also responsible for design, build and maintenance of our
environmental controls as well as troubleshooting & greenhouse construction.
He enjoys golf, travel, reading and music. He and his wife, Anne, have two
daughters. |

David, Earl's son-in-law, joined Meadow View
in 2008. He is a die-hard
Michigan fan and takes a lot of good natured ribbing from all of the
Buckeyes here. David has four children and when he is not busy at work is
busy with his family. He is also a platinum member of the Speedway beverage
club and enjoys the caffeine found in Mountain Dew to keep his energy level
high.

Earl
is "Dad" to Meadow View founding the company in 1984. He has been gardening
since his high school days. Earl holds a degree in Ornamental Horticulture
and has held management, sales, & marketing positions with national
wholesale nurseries and horticultural manufacturing & distributing
companies. He enjoys spending time with his wife, children and
grandchildren, gardening, serving in the community and church, and
photography. |

Scott
manages retail at Meadow View. With thirty-four years horticultural experience,
Scott enjoys working (playing) in the dirt whether it be in the greenhouse
or in the garden. He attended the Ohio State University Agricultural
Technical Institute. Go Bucks! You will recognize him in the greenhouse with
dirt on his hands (and probably his shirt and pants!).
When he's not in the garden you'll likely find him riding his Harley,
fishing, camping, grilling or any other outdoor activity.

Carol
has worked in the industry for twenty-three years and at Meadow View for
over seven.
She is responsible for growing and ordering the perennial stock, assisting
in the Nursery department,
and Working in Shipping in the winter months. When not busy at Meadow View,
Carol
loves to spend time with family (three kids/five grandchildren and of course a
loving husband). An avid gardener, she is a 'master' OCNT (Ohio Certified
Nursery Technician.) In her other spare moments, she
loves to spend time and travel with friends in a local Corvette club of
which her husband, Doug,
and she are founding members.

Diane has been a part of Meadow View for
over
fifteen years.
She oversees the loyalty program, Kids' Club, fall field trips, fundraisers, and
the planting of our display beds. Mother of five, and grandmother to a dozen kids, she spends most of
her spare time doing grandma-type things. She is also actively involved in her church, participating in the
praise band as a keyboard player and vocalist as well as serving as church
financial secretary. |

Retha - Propagation Manager & Spring Custom Container Specialist

Randy
is responsible for cultural practices on all crops grown at Meadow View. He
loves to spend his free time with his wife, three daughters, six grandchildren,
and one great grandchild. |

Retha
has been the young plant propagation manager for nine years. She works with
custom container planting in the spring. Retha says she has the best
possible job...doing what she really enjoys and working with a GREAT team.

Tanya - Maintenance Manager |

Teresa - Annuals Manager & SpyderByte/Facebook Editor, OCNT |
Tanya's
motto is "Anything that sticks or squeaks is mine." Her responsibilities at
Meadow View include equipment and facility maintenance, inventory, safety
training, shipping & delivery as well as soil and container coordination. In
her spare time, she enjoys backpacking, fishing and kayaking. |

Teresa joined the Meadow View team in 2005 as our annuals manager. If it
blooms pink she loves it! Teresa enjoys giving our seminars here at MVG and
public speaking at other symposiums and garden club meetings throughout the
year. An avid photographer, you might see some of her photos in our
SpyderByte emails and on our Facebook page, both of which she edits.
When she isn't in the greenhouse, you might find her riding on her Harley.
Teresa is the proud mother of a beautiful daughter. |

Alice
graduated from Michigan State University in Landscape & Nursery Management.
She has over 30 years experience in the landscape and grounds maintenance
fields. She is married and has two adult daughters. She loves to camp, do
crafts, play hand bells and is involved in church activities. |

Barb
directs Meadow View’s “Contain Yourself” area, a do-it-yourself container
design and plant program. Her goal is to take the fear out of gardening.
When not in the retail area, she is a jack of all trades-helping with fall
school field trips, wholesale poinsettia sales, planting and production and
pulling orders for winter shipment. You might see her anywhere. |

| Barb is part of the crew that's been keeping Meadow View growing
for years by trimming and planting fresh cuttings and transplanting
them when they're ready. In her spare time, she enjoys leisure
activities at home. |

Cindy is our grower's "right-hand-gal." She helps ensure our plants aren't
too thirsty, hot, cold or bothered by pests. Outside of work, she loves to
camp, cook and listen to music. |

Deb
joined Meadow View after retiring from the medical field where she
worked for 36 years. She has worked at MVG in the perennial and propagation
departments for five years now. In her spare time, Deb likes to
garden her own 5 acres, play with her grandkids and practice her Native
American flute. |

Jacob is one of our maintenance handymen around here. He also makes certain
all our pots have the soil they need in them to grow our healthy plants. In
his spare time, you can find him working on cars, playing soccer, running,
working out at the gym, or just enjoying music.

Korrine
is a cashier during Meadow View's busy spring season then works in the
production department the rest of the year. She loves fuchsias and lilies
and almost always has a flower in her hair! In her time off, Korrine enjoys
camping with her husband and son, baking cookies and writing
recipes. |

Linda Kay is part of the crew that keeps Meadow View growing by trimming and
planting fresh cuttings and transplanting them when they're ready. In her
spare time, she enjoys sewing, scrapbooking and gardening. |

Rick
is a "jack-of-all-trades" and finds his responsibilities at Meadow View as
anything that needs done! He and his wife, Sally, are
reclaiming a portion of the family farm by restoring the house and
buildings; raising grain, hay and livestock. |

Sandy has been at Meadow View for
over ten years after retiring from
Northwestern schools. She works production in the
fall and winter. When not at Meadow View, she likes to garden and spend time
with her grandchildren and pets (3 horses, 2 dogs, and too many cats!) |

Susan,
a recent graduate of the Dayton School of Medical Massage, has been working
at Meadow View for five years. She is involved in propagation during the
fall and winter as well as a zone leader in the herbs & vegetables. She
enjoys organic farming and walks with her dog, Dempsey. |

Wanda
joined Meadow View in 1997. She is part of the crew that keeps us
growing by trimming and planting fresh cuttings and transplanting
them when they're ready. In her fun time, she loves gardening,
canning/preserving, cooking, sewing, traveling and spending time
with her husband, kids and grandkids! |
