Meadow View is a family business committed to producing the
finest quality plants. The 40 (80,000SF) greenhouse structures are located just
south of New Carlisle, OH, a small town north of Dayton.
The business began in the fall of 1984 when a cornfield was converted to
greenhouse structures. Today Meadow View is one of the premiere horticultural
businesses in the Dayton area. It is a destination where the inexperienced as
well as the seasoned gardener can purchase the highest quality and
“not-so-common” varieties of annual bedding plants, perennials, vegetables &
herbs, fall flowering garden mums, and poinsettias. In early 2008 we’ll be
adding to the family, when we break ground on a new state-of-the-art 24,000
square foot greenhouse. It will feature cutting edge technology that will enable
us to replace older, less energy efficient greenhouses and add slightly more
capacity.
In the spring of 1995 the Garden Barn, a distinctive store for the serious and
discriminating gardener, came into existence to offer unique and unusual
gardening related collectibles and gifts. There is something for everyone in the
Garden Barn. The atmosphere changes with the seasons and ends the year with a
gathering of decorations, gift items, arrangements and everything that goes with
Christmas.
Meadow View specializes in hard to find selections, whether it’s plants or the
collection from the Garden Barn. The variety of new plants including annuals,
perennials and herbs has set the company apart from other businesses in the
area. The Meadow View team is committed to excellence in products and service.
Most team members are avid gardeners and very knowledgeable and caring people. A
recent collective summary of professional experience on staff exceeded 350
years. They enjoy using their experience as they grow your plants and sharing
their expertise as they serve our customers.

An Ohio Certified Nursery Technician, Diane has been with us
for 12 years and manages our POS system. Her talents are seen everywhere at
Meadow View, assisting the greenhouse staff in creating one of the nicest places

help pronouncing a name just ask her. Have you ever seen our “Giant” moss
baskets? Diane plants many of these magnificent hanging gardens, (not to mention
our display gardens) and seems to outdo herself each year. Her combinations are
spectacular. If there is something she can’t do…. we haven’t found it yet.
Grandchildren and music are Diane’s passions.
